Well, I've been trying to get out and work in my garden - the toughest thing about this pregancy has been taking it easy! So here are some of the pictures of my flower garden. We have some unending landscaping issues around here with some drainage problems - so yet again, my veggie garden drowned with our last rain so I'm going to try and get my hubby to fix it up a bit before I take any photos... So this is my view as I look down on the way to my flower garden - I can just see my toes as I walk - that belly gets in they way a bit!
This is the garden at the corner of our lot. My cleome in the background are going crazy. The cosmos are about to bloom. My phlox and lilies are blooming as well as the annuals. It shows up better if you click on the photo=)
This is a photo of my favorite perennial flower - bee balm. It attracts the butterflies and has a long bloom time. You can see the purple larkspur and bearded tongue in the background. I actually started the larkspur from seed back in March (inside) when we first moved here so was excited (and a bit shocked) to see it bloom this season!
Our beautiful sidewalk it completed! Thanks to my amazingly hard working parents, it is a fully functional, and gorgeous addition to our landscaping! I love my cleomes so had to throw some in here too!

My parents also made a neat little flower garden-to-be (next year) and surrounded it with their cobblestone. My shade garden on the left is pretty immature but should perk up next season. I've got some coral bells (my fav shady plan), foxglove (another one from seed - I'm thinking will bloom next year), a rhododendron, fern, ligularia, hostas and ginger. Sorry, I'm fascinated by plants so this may be a pretty boring blog for most!!!! I always get so amazed with the Lord and His creation when I see him make my flowers bloom=)

My very talented Mom makes thes cement rhubarb leaf bird baths- very unique I think - she gave me this one and I painted it with the green and copper. I think it will be pretty when I plant some flowers around it next year.
Sara- your gardens are beautiful. I should really take some notes:) Now we can not wait to see pics from the nursery!
