Axis of Evil

There was a change in the Axis of Evil today as you can see. Sara made a less than enjoyable trip to the DMV today to get us our new license plates for WI. We needed to renew them because our IN plates are expiring in a couple of weeks. I guess WI has this rule that you have to switch to WI license plates 2 Days after you officially move. 2 Days! I don't think so. They said they won't give you credit for out of states plates that haven't expired, so they gave her the new plates but they expire in March '09 instead of July becasue that's when we SHOULD have changed them. I guess the customer service lady made that pretty clear to Sara in a good old fashioned courteous DMV way. Then, they wouldn't accept a mortgage deed and bank statement with our new address as "proof of residence." So, she couldn't get her new license today and will have to make another trip. I guess alot of people must buy a house and have their bank statements sent there but live somewhere else. All of this adds up to the new number 1 spot on the pastryk's axis of evil. Plumber #2 was knocked off the list, because we found a plumber who actually knew something about water softeners and will install one next week for us. Plumber #1 is still on there until the leak in our shower gets fixed.
