Yep, I hosted a murder mystery. Never thought I would do that, or that I could talk my hubby into it, but with some cajoling and the help of some great girlfriends, we got our husbands on board. And yes, the guns are real - c'mon, we live in Wisconsin! We had a hearty cowboy dinner, dressed my house up like a saloon (literally)... though the Jack Daniels you see on the table is actually full of orchard fresh apple cider=) And yes, we had a blast! Scott looked dashing as Wyatt Earp, sheriff of Tombstone - though apparently he lost his 'stache sometime after the photos were taken. Don't want to get a rash on the upper lip=) And I was his petulant wife, Cattle Kate - borrowed some rockin cowboy boots from my Mom=) ...We also managed to solve the murder!

ReplyDeleteYou guys are too crazy!! But it sounds like so much fun...maybe there needs to be a mystery to solve sometime this next summer in South Bend that requires the old group to solve. Wish we could come visit you guys...maybe someday...
