Giant Indians/4 corners/Monument Valley
The next day we left Durango and ran into a group of giant Indians. I think they were jealous of our Grand Marquis and were trying to hit it with their giant arrows:
Next we went to the four corners monument where Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah come together. Nolan got an efficient 4 states visited in one sitting:
Next we headed to Monument Valley in southern Utah. It's a neat park in the middle of the desert. There is nothing around for around 100 miles or so. We made sure to keep the car full of gas or else it could have been a LONG walk somewhere. The park is just a dirt road around all these huge sandstone rock formations. They all look like something and have been given names. Some of them are more of a stretch than others. This was the view coming down the highway to the park:

That is the funniest ever... the last photo that is! I can totally appreciate that one ;) Those rock formations are amazing!
