Nolan is a 16 pounder! Wow, what a chunker =) I think it runs in the family because his cousin, Addison, who is a month younger, is a growing gal as well! (She's the one with the cute kissin cheeks next to Nolan)
Nolan LOVES his exersaucer, and so does Mommy. He's so tall that he can jump around in it already! Nolan also loves to take naps in the sunshine (we have a bed in front of a nice East facing window) with Mommy. That is a treat for both of us, but can't wait for the real thing. He won't take a bottle at daycare so if anyone has advice on that it would be great! He likes to tank it all down later, and sometimes has to add a 3AM feeding to replace his 3pm missed one. Otherwise he's been pretty good at sleeping through the night. The other day, he discovered his feet - now he wants to be naked all the time so he can find his toes more easily. Never thought letting the kid suck on his feet would quiet down a fuss-fest. What a joy!

ReplyDeleteOn the bottle issue I do not have first hand experince but they say he will eat if he is hunger enough. Don't be discouraged he will work through this- you are doing a great job!!

Nolan is adorable! We love chubby babies:) I think Jess is right, if he's hungry enough, he'll take the bottle. I'm sure the more he gets used to being there and gets used to the people there, the easier it will be. Luke never wanted to take a bottle from anyone else either.

ReplyDeleteMy sister is having problems with her little girl taking a bottle too. She has went 10 hours and refuses to take one. The time that she took one from me, I had to make the milk really warm to make it closer to the temperature of when the breastmilk comes out.
I know how frustrating it has been for my sister. Hang in there! Before you know it, table food and sippy cups will be relplacing the bottle dilemma.
Oh my goodness!! He is soooo cute! Seriously, those pictures are just adorable! I love the bottom one...maybe the caption could be "Yes, Nolan, you are a handsome fella!"
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe how old he is getting! Someday I wish I would be able to figure out how to slow down time so I wouldn't miss anything! Thanks for posting the exersaucer pictures :) Is Addison bigger than him or is the just the orientation of the picture? They look like the two of them could be trouble when they get a little bigger!
