We got a little impatient with our "forest," as most of the trees are of the 2-4 feet variety right now. They are growing well, but they are going to take a while before they are more noticeable. We decided to get some bigger ones since Menards was starting their clearance in their garden section. We got 5 trees that are 10-15 feet high. We decided to enjoy the shade with a little picnic before we put them in the ground tomorrow.
Here's are group of 5 trees anxiously awaiting to be transplanted. They are admiring the lovely cleome patch until they find their new home.
It's harder than you think to get 5 tall trees home. We rented the used and abused menards truck with 415,000 miles on it to bring them home. There's nothing like going 40 mph on the highway with a bunch of branches flyin' in the wind behind you.
Your yard is looking beautiful, I am sure it will be nice to have some bigger tress, maybe add some privacy? Well not yet but soon:)
