Memorial Day

We spent Memorial day at Sara's parents' lake house. They had an additional visitor for the holiday as well. Their town has a family of black bears that have moved in recently and one of the young guys came for a visit. We got some good pictures of him. Here he is walking up the steps in the garden:


They have a couple big retaining walls in the back and he was standing up with his paws on top of one of them here:

When he didn't find anything interesting, he went over to the neighbors, climbed up the stairs to their deck, and then got some food from the bird feeder:

Their town had a small parade for the holiday and Nolan really enjoyed watching the marching band. He had his stroller decked out for the parade:
